How much does Divorce mediation cost?

Divorce mediation is generally billed at an hourly rate split between the parties so each person pays around $125 an hour. There is no retainer fee. Clients pay as they go after each session.

The total cost is based on the time it takes to address your issues. Some factors that determine the time it takes to reach a resolution include:

  1. The number and complexity of the divorce issues to be resolved;

  2. The frequency of mediation sessions;

  3. The emotional state and cooperation each party brings to the mediation.

That said, no matter how complex or numerous the issues are in your unique situation, the costs of divorce mediation are a fraction of the costs to litigate a divorce. And it always takes less time because you have chosen to work together.
